The Beach Lodge is situated in Margate and offers holiday accommodation. From the moment you arrive, you will experience our personal service and hospitality. Margate is indeed a holiday mekka of the KZN area.

Our delicious buffet offers a tempting variety: choose from a selection of cereals, enjoy fruit juice or tropical fruits, try assorted cold meats, cheese, all kinds of egg dishes, bacon, sausages, fried tomato or beans in tomato sauce as well as a choice of toasts, muffins, rolls, jams, honey, marmalade, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

The choices are endless! In season we offer a reasonably priced set menu for supper. Margate offers throughout the year many restaurants, take-away's and delivery services, and there is ample variety from thai cuisine to italian, from portuguese to german fare etc.

You can do as much... or as little as you want when you choose to vacation with us!

Lounge around our beautiful crystal-clear pool and bar set in a subtropical garden; or you can get more active on the beach, the golf course or any one of the many varied activities available to you in Margate.

There's a lot of fun to be had on Margate beach!

Let the little ones frolic, safe in the knowledge that you're on one of South Africa's safest beaches. Have a go at a game of beach-volleyball or go scuba-diving and explore the depths of the indian ocean! If you're into adventure then deep-sea fishing could be what you've been looking for. If safety is an issue then you can rest assured in the knowledge that Margate Beach is the only beach on the South Coast to be awarded blue-flag status for safety and hygiene.
