Location
The Sun-Lourie Resort is located in Pennington, approximately 60 kilometers
South of Durban. Many people have referred to Pennington as the South Coast's
best kept secret, and this is no surprise. Visitors soon become familiar faces
as they return time and time again to soak up sun, surf and sand. What a way to
spend your holiday.

Self Catering Chalets
All units have a Colour TV fridge, stove, microwave and kitchen utensils. For
your convenience and pleasure, we have private braai areas for each unit.

There are eleven units sleeping 2 - 12 people.
We can accommodate 60 people at a time. childrens camps upto 75 people. We
are members of the (CCI) Christian Camping International. We also cater for school
and sport groups.
Special Tariffs for pensioners out of season.

or sport getaways.

Activities

Fishing
If fishing is what you are after then you have come to the right place. The are
numerous fishing spots and un-spoilt beaches. Ski boat charters and pleasure trips
can be easily arranged. Many species of Game fish can be hooked when fishing our
Coastal waters. |

Golf
We have no less than 4 top class golf courses to choose from within 40km of the
Sun-Lourie Resort. The Selborne Country Estate and Umdoni Golf course are both
situated in Pennington. |

Sardine Run
Every year hundreds of people flock to the beaches to witness the mass shoals
of sardines. This is an incredible event. There are massive Bronze Whaler sharks
leaping out of ocean everywhere, Whales and Dolphins can also be viewed along
many vantage points on our South Coast especially during this time. People are
all in a rush to catch a few each. There are thousands of marine birds that follow
the shoals until they disappear into the Indian ocean. This is a lovely event
for the family and kids.

Relax
After you've been diving, fishing or playing golf, you might want to spend the
day relaxing at the pool. In the vicinity of the pool we have a Lapa for functions,
braais, and group events. There is also a pub and a play area for kids, including
a jungle-gym and a trampoline for the young at heart. |
