Your hosts Adin and Sharon Greaves would love to welcome you to Swellendam and their flower filled establishment. They have won numerous awards over the years, and are presently in the AA Hall of Fame.

Adin and Sharon Greaves, have owned and hosted first a Guest House, and now this B & B, since 1988.  Sharon’s ancestors arrived in South Africa with the 1820 British Settlers and she was brought up in the Eastern Cape.   Adin’s family came from the Netherlands (1740) and the U.K. (1830) to settle in Natal. Adin and Sharon are proud to be Fourth Generation South Africans.

Accommodation

	In a peaceful and secure garden setting, three very spacious and elegant individually themed rooms, airconditioned, and furnished with Adin's fine handcrafted furniture, antiques and beautiful original paintings, prints and photographs.

All the guest rooms are separate from the main building. The three spacious, deluxe, airconditioned suites open directly onto a quiet large, private garden where we have over 600 rose bushes, and abundant birdlife. Relax under the vine-covered pergola with a glass of wine, or recline in your deckchair on the sunny well-manicured lawn. The grape-vines on the pergola outside the Queen Elizabeth and Double Delight suites is the ornamental type which ensures that during the heat of summer the rooms are well-shaded, but during the cold months the sun has free access to the rooms. We chose ornamental grapes to avoid the danger of wasps being attracted to the fruit.
