On the lower slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain and situated in a quiet, safe and leafy up-market residential area of Stellenbosch, Hazelwood House offers a truly peaceful and tranquil haven from the charming but busy town centre. We are lucky to have very large lush indigenous gardens, in which is an enormous salt water pool - serious swimming is possible!

We are a 10 minute walk from the historical town centre and a 3 minute drive by car. Numerous vineyards, golf courses and leading restaurants are close by and we are only 35 minutes drive to Cape Town city centre and Cape Town International Airport. The beautiful coast is just 20 minutes drive away, with whale watching between June and December. In high season (October to April) we do not allow children - to ensure that the ambience of Hazelwood is always quiet and relaxing.
