The hotel offers air conditioned rooms, either double or single, with private bathroom or shower. Stay at the Criterion Annexe with six family suites or select one of the three cottages each with two double rooms, sitting room and private facilities. Gastronomically there is much to choose from. The Cordon Bleu Chef takes great pride to introduce visitors to local country cooking.

Across the hotel you will find Reinholds Restaurant. It is advisable to book at reception for an evening of culinary delights. There at a pre-dinner drink in the Tivoli bar, you will easily make new friends. Sports lovers don't come short. Lounge around our swimming pool, set in secluded garden surroundings. We also have a sauna, squash court and a gym. Nearby you will find tennis courts, bowling green and a golf course.

Enjoy boating or waterskiing on the 18 km Clanwilliam Dam. Fish for black bass or gently paddle along the water surface. Clanwilliam is also unique as an area where Rooibos tea is grown. This bush produces a herbal tea, renowned throughout the world.

Other worthwhile trips from Clanwilliam include Lamberts Bay, the fishing village on the west coast. Watch the boats unload the rich harvest of the sea when they return to the harbour or visit the bird sanctuary and study the colonies of gannets and cormorants. Whatever you like to do, here at the foot of the Cedarberg you will find a tranquil mix of unique landscape, farmrich land, plants and architecture as well as a special breed of people that welcome you.
